2023 National Schools’ Regatta (NSR)
This weekend some of the Performance group travelled down to Eton Dorney to compete at The National Schools’ Regatta, a 3 day event with over 5000 juniors competing from 157 different clubs from across the country.
Our crews representing Doncaster competed in Time Trials and Heats on Saturday followed by Semi Finals and Finals on Sunday, they did an amazing job and performed well against some well known “Rowing Schools” and larger clubs, we even got a mention in the commentary on the live stream about our “Great programme and colourful boats”

Harry Denton competing in Championship 1x qualified for the B Final finishing 16th overall in his first visit to NSR.
Lucy Blair competing in the Championship Girls 1x which had an entry of 48, also qualified for the B Final finishing 16th overall.
Erin Shillito, Anea Colodi, Amelia Westbrook & Charlie Blair competing in the Championship Girls 4x- qualified for the C Final finishing in 4th place.
Well done everyone, great results all round. Thank you to all parents for your help and support.
A huge thank you to Paul Shillito. Paul approached Tarmac Traffic Management and they supplied not only a towing vehicle and a minibus for coaches, athletes and parents to travel to Eton Dorney in but also all the fuel needed for the weekend. This show of support was amazing and very much appreciated.
