British Rowing Indoor Championships 2024

British Rowing Indoor Championship (BRIC) was held at the NEC in Birmingham on 7th December 2024, this year the event attracted more than 1800 competitors from around the world, 6 of our Junior athletes made the journey to compete.

Tudor Morris Sixth Form Boys 2Km finishing 22nd in 7:04.3 a Personal Best also competed in 500m Sprint finishing 22nd in 1:32.6

Megan Hill Sixth Form Girls 2Km finishing 21st in a time of 8:28.0 a Personal Best and finished 13th in the 500m Sprint with a time of 1:48.8

Gabriel Ford Year 11 Boys 6 Mins finished 25th with a distance of 1576M

Madison Fleming Year 11 Girls 6 Mins finished 21st with 1422M

Sophie Robertson Year 11 Girls 6 Mins finished 19th with 1452M

Emilia Knight Year 10 Girls 5 Mins finished 26th with a Personal Best of 1213M

All of these Juniors put in a lot of hard work on the ergs for this event and it really paid off, they were all cheered on and supported by other Juniors and a team of parents.

Plans are already being made to enter next year's event with some of the parents entering too, hopefully we can make it a full club event .
