Yorkshire Head 2025
This year's Yorkshire Head was a resounding success, delivering outstanding results for every section of the Club on a splendid day along the River Ouse.
The Head Race, organized by the Yorkshire Rowing Council, featured a challenging 3,000-meter course. It attracted 13 competitive crews from Doncaster who faced off against rowing clubs from all over the country. The event not only showcased the skill and determination of the participants but also highlighted the vibrant rowing community in Yorkshire. The perfect weather added to the festive atmosphere, making it a memorable day for rowers and spectators alike.

Sue Fisher (Ladies Captain) added "Well done to all the crews today We have had some fantastic results from all sections of the club. Thank you to all the coaches and supporters. It was a great whole club outing. I am one very proud ladies' captain."
Rick Rolt (Men's Captain) added "Can I take this opportunity to congratulate ALL members of our squad that competed at the Yorkshire Head yesterday. Some very respectable performances, well done. But can I particularly mention the great achievement of Dan, Andy, Nick and Matt and coach William on being the fastest masters quad on the day. Can I also thank Andy for taking the trailer, Paul G for supporting and everyone else who volunteered at the event. Great work all"
