Doncaster Rowing Club: A Year of Racing and Development!
Doncaster Rowing Club, alongside our dedicated Doncaster Schools' crews, enjoys a packed calendar of competitive rowing throughout the year! We proudly represent Doncaster at numerous regattas hosted around the country, taking on clubs from across the UK and showcasing the talent nurtured right here on the River Don. These events are fantastic opportunities for our crews, from juniors to seniors, to test their skills, gain valuable race experience, and achieve their personal bests.
Beyond travelling to compete, we are also incredibly proud to host two significant Head races annually right here at our club: the Head of the Don in November and the South Yorkshire Head in March. These home events are a highlight of our year, drawing competitors from far and wide to experience racing on our unique stretch of water. They offer a brilliant chance for our own members to compete on familiar territory and for the wider community to witness the excitement of competitive rowing first-hand.
